Electrical Engineer

Madushan Kumara is graduated in B.Sc. Electrical Engineering from University of Moratuwa in 2008 and received his Masters in Electrical Engineering from University of Moratuwa in 2010. He is a Corporate Member of Institute of Engineers, Sri Lanka (IESL) and chartered qualified since 2015.

From 2006 to 2007 he has worked for FDK Lanka (PVT) Ltd, Katunayake and gained the experience & knowledge in design modifying & maintaining industrial power systems & knowledge in industrial automation. During this period, he implemented a relay based indicator system for air compressors and designed the single line diagrams for some power distribution panels, which newly installed within the factory. He has conducted the “Building Lighting Design” module for Building Service Degree Program when he’s worked as a part-time lecturer in the University of Vocational Technology. He also designed a microcontroller based automatic voltage regulator for a laboratory generator as the final academic project.
Presently he is working as an electrical engineer for Central Engineering Consultancy Bureau (CECB) and involved in design and inspection of electrical installation works of many building projects. He also works for Design Studio as a freelance electrical engineer since 2013.
