Anir Upadhyay is trained as an architect and urban planner, and has a PhD in sustainable design from the University of Sydney. He is passionate about climatic design and is keen on simplifying climate data for building professionals.
Being a Research Fellow at UNSW Built Environment, Australia, Anir brings his academic and research experiences to the Design Studio and helps the design team as a consultant to incorporate advanced strategies/ approaches of sustainable built environment.
Anir has published papers and presented in international conferences in the field of sustainable design. He is interested in using technology to explore buildings’ environmental and energy performance. He co-designed ySense (an advanced sensor technology) for collecting environmental data and conducting thermal comfort surveys.
